A fully automatic convertible top robust enough to withstand the special environment found on motor yachts: you could call this the ‘holy Grail’ of yacht builders and enthusiasts. Until now, a lack of specific technical expertise, the development costs, and the specific requirements which such a top on a motorboat must comply with prevented shipbuilding yards from offering a full-fledged convertible solution. That is why CapeLine bv decided to try a completely different approach, with the goal of developing an affordable convertible top that would be within reach of the entire sector. The second CapeLine product is called CapeSun, a panoramic sliding sunroof. The newest product is the CapeShade a fully automatic sunshade design for motor yachts.
